2.
INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL (IDP)
1. Give the Executive
Summary of the IDP:-
The Govt. College for Women at Salaheri is
placed in the heart of the Nuh District; The College was established in the
year 2012. Government College for Women, Salaheri, Nuh is merely at a distance
of 1.5 KMs from main bus stand of Nuh and 10 KM from Kundli-Manesar Expressway,
One Km from Delhi-Alwar Highway and 15 KM from Rojka Meo Industrial Area of
Nuh. The college is well covered by Haryana Govt. bus service from various
important surrounding Nuh including Nuh bus stand, Sohna, Gurgaon, Firozepur
Jhirkha, Rewari and Palwal etc. Government
College for Women, Salaheri, Nuh has a unique distinction that there
foundation stone was laid down by the Chief Minister of Haryan,
Bhupender Singh Hooda in the year 2012. The College was worthy blessed and later on inaugurated by Chief Minister of Haryana, Manhor Lal Khattar in
the year 2016. The College is one of the most prestigious institutions of Nuh
district of Haryana. This is the largest Girls College of Nuh district where
more than 750 girl students have enrolled. To develop the employability of the students, their
overall personality development and confidence building among students through Women
& placement cell, NSS & NCC, Sports Meet, Fully Air conditioner Library, Legal Literacy competitions, soft skills training
program and availability of functional English Language lab.

Provide the details of SWOT analysis
carried out (in terms of methodology used, analysis and information and data as collected
and inferences derived with respect to strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and
threats).
The
college was established in the year 2012 with Two Programmes namely Bachelor of
Art and Bachelor of Commerce. It lies in the Socially, Economically and
Educationally backward district of Nuh. It is Government run educational
institute for girls only. Most of the girl students come from rural area
surrounding the Nuh. The
main strategic plan is to develop the college into one of the top most educational
institution in Haryana. With this aim, the girls students are being trained and
groomed through placement cell in various activities both academic and
extra-curricular activities. They are greatly benefiting from the quality education being imparted to
them by the college faculty. The college
has received the feedback from the students through Feedback option on the
website and the Complained & Suggestion Box.
3.
Action plan for the year 2024-25:-
1. To implement the NEP 2020 as per guidelines
of Higher Education Haryana and Gurugram University.
2. The college focus will be on MOUs so that
students can get better industrial experience and better internship.
3. The college has takes initiatives to enhancement
of sports facilities like badminton court, tracks and indoor games.
4. The college focusing on installation of solar
panels to save energy.
5. The college has regularly checked and
motivates the students to keep clean campus.
6. The college will be development of green
areas
7. The college will be installed Wi-Fi Facility
for updating the lab facilities with
computers
8. Addition
of good books in library covering syllabus and different competitions.
9. Improving the employability of graduates’
students through providing Interview Training program under Placement Cell.
10. Improving interactions with industry through
visit the students to industrial units and tour to industries in Nuh and others
areas also.
11. The college will be improving DTS Smart Class
rooms to increase the learning outcomes of the students.
12. For SC/ST/OBC/academically
weak students will be trained under the placement cell of the college under
which workshop, training for skills development will be conducted.
13. The college takes an action
plan for strengthening of PG programs and starting of new PG programs.
14. The college has provides the facility for
teaching and non teaching staff to get higher study and to attend
orientation/Refresher course.
15. The college has motives the teachers to
conduct the research and publications as per requirement.
